Am I affected by non-urban metering rules?
If you extract water from a river, creek or groundwater source (aquifer) and hold a water access licence (WAL) and water supply work approval, you may be affected by NSW non-urban metering rules.
You are not affected if you:
- receive water through a water utility or town water supply (such as a local council) or a water scheme that is already metered
- only use rainwater tanks to collect and store water from your roof for household use.
