2. Your next steps

Based on what you've told us:

  • The NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (the department) is the agency that can help you.
  • You can apply for a new licence or approval on the Customer Portal - a new digital platform for customers to lodge, track and manage a new water supply work and/or water use approval. Before applying for a new licence or approval, you need to register your business/organisation on the Customer Portal by creating a business account. To do this, contact the department and we will help you set up your account.
  • When you are ready to apply for a new licence or approval, or manage an existing licence or approval, please read the instructions on the department’s website at: Customer Portal
